Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club

The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club is Southern California’s premier wakeboard connection, founded in 1998 by a group of wakeboard enthusiasts committed to promoting the sport of wakeboarding. Our tournaments draw hundreds of spectators supporting amateur and pro riders alike, showcasing local talent, some of who have gone on to professional status!

Our divisions cater to everyone – from the beginner to the most advanced rider…and best of all we have prizes from the most respected sponsors.

We will continue to promote the sport by providing a “Learn to Wakeboard Day” event this year for the Canyon Lake community, as well as all Club members. The day is devoted to enlightening anyone who wants to learn about wakeboarding and safe boating. Staff members are on hand to provide training for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced rider. The Club provides boats and equipment for the day.

2009 Wakeboard Season

The weather and water temps are starting to warm up and soon so will the action on the water. The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club is ready to start the new season with a new more relaxed format. We will also be bringing it back to where it all started in the Canyon Lake Backwater. Please take a moment to look at the schedule and start putting them on your calendar. Hope to see you all there at the Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club tournaments

Here are a few tips on remaining injury free from ropes.

If you are in the water and the boat has returned the rope to you, face the boat and keep the rope in front of you letting it slide through your hands.

Don’t let it get behind your neck or wrapped around body or legs. Keep good communication with the driver and make sure the driver stops until you can untangle yourself. Read On.....
